Introduction of Cross Wedge Rolling Process
Cross wedge rolling refers to the continuous local deformation of cylindrical blanks between the molds of two rolling mills or between two flat plate molds, and the shape of the rolled parts is consistent with the shape of the grooves at the bottom of the molds.
The product quality is good. The metal fibers of the press-worked parts are good, so its comprehensive mechanical properties are better and the product accuracy is also high. The material utilization rate is high. Usually, in traditional machining (such as cutting machining), about 40% of the materials are wasted in the form of chips, while in the wedge cross rolling process, less than 10% of the materials are wasted.
The working environment has been improved. Due to the absence of impact and low noise in the forming process of wedge cross rolling, and the fact that no coolant is needed, the working environment has been greatly improved.
